WD-40 is one of the oldest trick in the books and it does work. I have become partial to Greased Lightning on everything and it works awesomes. Of course with anything always put on a good coat of wax. Have you ever heard of using comet on a white truck, you will be suprised how well it works to brighten it up with no scratches at all. Believe it or not.

WD-40 is what I have always used for "stuck on" cleaning. You can also find stuff called "Goo Gone" which works quite well, also. I haven't found anything that works as well as WD-40, though. It's great for cleaning (NOT lubing, just cleaning) motorcycle chains, too!

Maybe i'll give it a try... I've got a bottle of Goo gone.. I used that to remove the little stickers.. The ones that specify the dealers name... and i used it on the rubbernaids containers I bought... Stupid labels... But... I'll use the WD 40 next time.. see how it works...

Boater World sells a product called RELEASE. Works without fail. Spray on, let sit about 30 sec., wipe (rub) off with clean dry cloth. Wash with waterand very small amount of soap. This stuff is a adhesive and sealant remover. Best for getting stickers, decals, etc. It will even break down cured silicone, ployurethane and ploysulfides. I use it on my boat to remove and repair old silicone caulking. Has never damaged any paint, fiberglass, plastic, gauges, windshield, ss steel, chrome. I always wash down and put wax on any painted or fiberglass area's I use it on.
