Not sure why but every once and a while I'll get a wierd problem. While driving I'll notice the cruise won't work and the truck won't rev past 3500 RPM, like when you want to pass someone. Its happen a handfull of times and each time I can't figure out what causes it. I've taken it to the dealer and at least they tell me it doesn't have an error code on it. Everything else works and turning it off and back on fixes it every time. I'm lost on this one, thought somebody on here might have some insight.

 

Not sure about how to fix it, but I would stop in at any dodge dealer when this happens and do not shut it off. Maybe then they could hop in and see what it is doing. Red

 

Its your map sensor, Just had this happen to mine, checked mine when the engine lite was on and foud out it was the map sensor. Its real easy to change by your self. Sensor is right on top of the engine by the air intake box, not the one in the box, but right next to it,its on intake manafold cant miss it.

 

try cleaning it before you replace it. Sometimes that will work and save you a few bucks
