Ram 1500 level kit, looking for a little feedback!
Hey guys, I have been reading up on this forum for some time now and have learned quite a bit but have yet to post. So I just bought an 07 TRX hemi about a month ago and cant stand how the front end drags down. I even removed that front bottom plastic fender all the rams have to get that extra clearance. I just want to level the front with the rear or close to at least. I found this level kit below, I was hoping I could get some feedback on whether it will have any long term wear and tear or would I need to take it easy through some trails. I'll have to post some pics when I get a chance. Thanks!

If I were you, I'd wait until KORE finishes their testing on the kit for the TRX4. Serious performance.
I'm just pissed that I can't find a reliable leveling kit for an '06 2wd. Sorry I wasn't much help.

If you can put them in yourself it looks like a good deal. If you can't, that's the same price I paid for getting an alignment after giving the torsion bolts a few turns and I'm very happy with the results. Some people warn cranking the bolts will cause increased wear on your cv joints etc., but I haven't heard anyone who's actually done the adjustment complain.
hmm couldnt tell ya. But I did take a look at the KORE kit and that does look pretty damn sweet. But I think that will be a little too pricey and extensive for what I'm looking for.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the '06 and up 1500's have IFS? That would mean no torsion bars.

I'm pretty sure they went with a strut design on the '06 and up models. Easiest way to tell is to go out and look. Mine's 2wd, so I couldn't tell you for sure.

So there is more than one way to do IFS. I'm no mechanic. I just learn by looking, reading and doing. When I'm so inclined.
Today I have been edumacated!
But anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread. We now return you to your regularly scheduled question.

THAT KIT IS GOOD BUT WHAT I HAVE FOUND OUT THROUGH MONTHS OF RESEARCH IS THAT TOSE COIL SPRINGS SPACERS CANT GIVE ENOUGH LIFT TO FULLY LEVEL THE TRUCK OUT ,WITH THE REAR.,, AT THE SAME TIME YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINKABOUT THE RIDE OR THE FUTURE ,i JUST PURCHASED FOR MY 03 2WD A ROUGH COUNTRY KIT LITTLE PRICEY BUT WOORTH IT IT HAS NEW SPINDLES SO IT DOESNT MESS UP YOUR PINION ANGLES AND GIVE YOU THE SAME RIDE QUALITY PLUS WITH NEW SPINDLE LATER ON DOWN THE ROAD YOU CAN GO BIGGER WITH WASTING WHAT YOU HAVE ALREAYD DONE.
BUT THATS WHAT I HAVE FOUND OUT

lol dont worry about the hijacking, all info is appreciated! funny stuff tho. But with my truck being an 07, will any mods to this lift void my warranty? If anyone has any other suggestions as to leveling the truck with something inexpensive, not too complicated and something that won't cause any long term damage.......please!! let me know!!
