The 3.92 usually comes with the 20's. So if you got the big horn/thunder road/lone star (all the same just different names by region), you will have the 3.92, but the tow package is a separate option.

I have an 07 TRX4 with the same tranny... with the Tow/OD... But no tow package... I thought it was just cheaper for Dodge to make all truck with the same tranny... If thats not the case.. I have no Idea....

well, my v6 had the tow/haul and OD off tranny too. thats standard i think. lol. but uh, its weird. i think you should go to the dealer, first check your window sticker then talk to the dealer... good luck!
