6 inch lift for my dodge?
hi people! well I have a problem and I hope I can get some help. I just bought me a 07 1500 dodge 4x4,and I am looking for a 6 inch lift for it and I can not find one.the weird thing is that it has a solid front axle which I love but can not find a lift for it.I would be very thankfull if you can help me out!

I think there is already another post on this. But I know that fabtech makes a 6 inch for it. There are a couple of guys here that have there 1500's lifted. http://www.fabtechmotorsports.com/ap...-ram-1500.html. That one is for an 06 but I think that they specs for 06 are the same as an 07.

Since it's an 07 you're going to have to wait until the summer or the fall generally speaking to get a lift for new year trucks. They have to first design the kit and test it out to see how it performs before they market a new year kit.

I've got a 6in BDS lift on mine w/ 35s. I just went to my local offroad shop and they knew just what to put on. They did say this was the first 2007 they have done. FYI: The clearance in the wheel well is different. They had to put a spacer on my wheels so there would be no rubbing.

Im having a Fabtech 6 inch lift put on my 2006 2wd. Supposedly Fabtech just started shipping it yesterday. They had one for the 4wd but just came out with the 2wd. So yeah you may have to wait a little while. Most of the folks I talked to reccomended I wait for the Fabtech product. Also adding Mickey Thompson 35s and some Helo Maxx6 20inch rims. I will post some picks when its done.

Excuse the ignornace but...I notice it lists the lift part description for a 4X4. Do you have to have a 4X4 to lift the truck? Is a 2WD capable of moving the beast with a lift without getting 5mpg as a result? Anyone here have a lift with a 2WD?

Nevermind. I found the catalog listing the lift for a 2WD. Duh!
Anyone here have the lift on a 2WD with a Hemi? If so, how drastic is the reduction in MPG with a 3" + lift?

P.S. How bout them Niners getting 2 MNF games this season, including the opener?! I'm stoked for this season!
