Default rear diff swap

I own an 03 RAM 1500 2WD. I'm looking to swap the limited slip diff with a posi unit. What other parts might I replace while have the diff out, and who should I go with Dana or Richmond? The rest of the specs are 9.25 inch rear with 3.92 gears. I haven't made up my mind if I want to do a gear swap too. If I did how would I make the changes for the speedo? O'yeah it has an auto tranny and 4.7 V-8. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

all depends on what diff this is that you are putting in. you may have to change the mounts for the control arms, spring perches, all depends on what diff it is that you're putting in. I have a jeep wrangler so i'm gonna have to go with my Boys Dana, they make one helluva differential.

Are you talking about putting a locker in? Cuz a LSD and posi are the same thing, just different names. As far as the gears and the speedo, you don't have to do a single thing as our speedo is read at the gear itself, the only thing that will change it is tire size.

Yes, I'm shooting to put a locker in.
