Does anyone have a 6.1 intake manifold they want to get rid of? Or does anyone know of a good place to get one besides ebay? Thanks for the help guys.

 

is the 6.1L manifold a direct bolt on to the 5.7L? and also does anyone know if the 6.1L throttle body works with the 5.7L or if there is an after market TB for the 5.7?

 

no and no

the head ports on the 5.7 wont match up. the throttle body will need to have the wires and stuff erxtended to make it work but the bolt pattern is a little different. its only like 2mm laarger than the 5.7 one too so no real point. get the throttle body, intake manifold and 6.1 l heads (pricy) and you should be good for another 40hp through out the rpm range.

 

Any sites you know of were i could check this stuff out and possibly buy it from?

here ya go man clink on the first pic on the left you see and there is a list of whats needed. people have been swapping just the intake but it doesnt match up that well to the non ported 5.7 heads.

 

Another thing with the throttle body, you will have to have your computer flashed (or run a custom) for it to recognize the 6.1 TB. Is it TECHNICALLY a direct bolt on? Yes. Will anything work? No.
