They have a brand new muffler called the super 44 series its supposed to be the best sounding muffler they have

and the 30 20 and 10 are not illegal. First if they were they wouldnt be sold. Second maybe it violates a noise ordinance some places but not all

Hi NJMand CEM,

What you have is:
A front Resonator
Apiece of straight pipe (3 inch)
A HUGE stock muffler
A tail pipe with a second resonator behind the rear wheel

I went to a local muffler shop, the guy cut the stock muffler out about an inch or two on each side.
Added a flowmaster muffler (Part number is in my signature)
Added a piece of 3" straight pipe to make up the difference left by the HUGE stock muffler.

Look up my post and you can see pics, sound clips and price.

I don't really recommend no muffler at all.

Did the same thing on a v6...sounds great

ive got the sotck muffler with a cut out before it. open it up and you can hear me coming (or going) and close it and enjoy silence with no drone etc.. i like having the adjustability because some days i like knowing there isnt much on the road loauder than me and on others my head hurts to much to deal with the nosie of any type of exhaust

Sorry, I ain't to good with this stuff but I will attempt to get a sound clip of the 30 series, as well as a few pics. As far as illegal,It would only be illegal if I cut out the cats, whichI haven't. It is pretty darn loud with'em, In alot of cases it is actually louder then alot of trucks running dual exhaust, I have a single outlet. The drone isn't to bad, on the highway it is only bad around 2 grand but with the overdrive in these trucks I can set the cruise on 65 andit staysunder 2 grand. again I will see if I can get that sound clip.

do it. you'll like it. i removed both the rear resonator and the muffler and just ran the pre silencer and put a turn down on the pipe where the muffler would go. sounded good. now i have a hooker aero chamber in place of the pre-silencer still dumped in the same location but turned a little out the side too so u can hear it better. i absolutely love it. and it cost me $60. havent heard a hemi ram like mine yet.
