I have had on order now for the past six months a leveling kit from ready lift for my 2004 ram QC 2WD. This kit is suposed to be similar to the 4wd kits they make but are for 2wd. Ready lift was already supposed to have them on the market but there seems to be a hold up for the dodge parts from the manufacturer. I can't wait any longer. I called the shop today to tell him to scratch the ready lift leveling kit and just get me a pair of 2" coil spacers for the front end. He tells me that it is impossible to put coil spacers on my truck because dodge has a strut system on the front suspension. Am i an idiot or have i seen many other 2004 2wd rams with coil spacers? Even the daystar coil spacers say that the kind i need fit up to an 05'. Is this true? Anyone have the same model truck as i and have coil spacers?

 

yeah you need the spacers for 2wd and keys for 4wd until you hit 06 when they changed the suspension

 

so the guy from the off road shop is wrong...? coil spacers will work on the front end of my truck?

 

yep go look them up on ebay they have about 5 different brands, tell your off road guy to cancel the order and just get them off there, theres a few people that have done this on their 04 with pics on here if you do a search you should be able to find them
