Yeah, thats why I said "I think" I wasn't sure.
Also tires and/or rim size would affect this as well, if they were changed from stock.

really? i wouldnt think that the rims/tires would affect it as its based on speed?

I rekon what I meant
If you change your stock tire /rim size you will change whatyour "speed o meter" reads.

Example if you change from a30 inch tire to a 34 inch tire you speedometer will be off.
So now the Speedometer reads 50 but you are doing 60 (These are not exacts just examples)
Of course this works both ways. ie 34 to 30
