Default Steps for my truck

I recently bought steps for my 05 Ram 1500 QC, but waiting for the rain to stop to install. Has anyone had any experience installing these? The instructions are very vague, so I think I`ll have to wing it.
Also I want to take out my bedliner, use a brush on bed liner, and install a tonneau cover. Anyone have experience with brush/spray on bedliners that you applied yourself?

I havent put any side steps on my new truck but with the old few i've had i have never read directions. Usually i just hold them about where they would mount and you just just kinda see what bolts up to where

I put steps on my last 2 trucks. It was very easy. Usually you replace the cab mount bolts with ones that are inclluded with the steps. THere is also a 45 degree brcket that goes into one of the holes on the truck. I did them myself and took about an hour or so. Just remember to torque the bolts back on. I also used some lock thread just incase....

ditto what usnfirefighter said. Have the appropriate tools, mainly a breaker bar to remove the old cab bolts and a torque wrench to put the new bolts back on. Fairly easy and did mine in an hour or so.

Thanks for the info. I`ll make sure I have the tools, and I`ll probably need some extra washers, as I heard they always short people.
Now I have to wait til next weekend, cause it rained this whole weekend. Oh well.....[:@]
