Hello all; I’m new to the site I just bought a 2004 1500 Laramie, already this site has answered many of my questions, both big and small. Things that had me stumped seem to have all been experienced and posted here.

I do have yet another question to anyone who can help, I just purchased a SRT10 hood off ebay for my HEMI, I was wondering what the average cost would be to paint it black to match my truck. Also if there is a way to convert it so that the ram air is functional?

I believe volant has an intake kit that makes the srt-10 hood functional. As far as cost for the painting goes, I had my driver's side bed panel repaired and painted (trailer jacknife incident) for 300 bucks, so I would imagine the painting for the hood shouldn't be too bad.
