Default cut out?

I saw this

and I was wondering what is cut out? and is it going to kill my MPG?

exhaust is cut out to exit before the muffler.

yes electric cut out is the same as a cut out. Its basically like a Y pipe, one end come from the headers, then the other end has one end that runs down through the muffler like normal exhaust and the 3rd end is just open. You can hit a button and have the cap on the open end open or close

do you have a welder and a sawzall? I guess you could always clamp it in but it does need to go directly in the exhaust piping.

need to buy to have the cut out or need to buy to install the cut out? if your just looking to have it all you need is the cut-out some wire and the button. If your looking to install it you'll need to buy a welder and the things i just mentioned

mmm i'm not sure i dont go to o-reiley's very often cuz its like 35 miles away, im sure if they don't have it you can order it through them... i usually just order everything off line anyway
