Will the computer have to re-learn some things after I install the AEM Brute Force I just ordered? And does anyone know if AEM got it's CARB certificate for Pennsylvania?

 

The pcm should learn on its own after driving awhile, if it sets a code, then just reset it.

Don't know about the carb thing.

 

Thanks. Good to know that it may take a few miles to see any real results. I guess if it turns out that it is not PA emissions legal yet, I'll just re-install the original a couple of weeks before I go for inspection.

 

CARB-- California Air Resources Board ---required for legality in Cali, but to answer your question, it is 50 state legal in case you do move to Cali. Re-setting is just a good to do thing after any mod that changes any engine operation. It'll learn it eventually, resetting it will just make it happen sooner.
