i found out there is a hole in my muffler and i went under my truck to see how big it was and it has a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlet and its 18" body and 24" total length. i also found out its not a 50 series its a ravin muffler so now i want to get a magnaflow #12158 its 14" body 3" inlet with dual 2.5" out let i just dont hear much about magnaflow so what do some of you guys think about it or are there any better mufflers i should get i dont want something extremely loud neither because i have a 2 year old riding in the back seat all the time thanks.

 

Theres not many people on here running a magnaflow. There is a thread on here about putting one on an 07 by Trex5.7. I guess he just ordered one so maybe if he gets it on fast enough you could ask him about it. Personally I'm running a super 40 series with 3 in inlet and dual 2.5 inch outlets and i love it.

 

I have the Magnaflow set up on my 05 QC and it sounds just right to me. I did not want an exhaust that was loud all the time, just when I got into it. It has a nice mellow sound to it and the sound inside the cab is fine. Check out Magnaflow's web site and listen to the sound clips, they are not true tones to what it is in person, but can give you an idea of what it sounds like.

 

I just had a magnaflow system put on my 06 megacab it has a nice sound when you crank it and when you are going down the road but at idle it is as quit as stock. I'm not sure what model mine is I had the local shop put the system on but I will be changing out to the cherry bomb ( I want it a little louder) when I get back home from work in a couple of weeks.

 

I love my Magnaflow it's been a year since I had it installed it has gotten louder over time that is what the guy at the muffler shop said would happen .
