I did a search and I cant seem to find what Im looking for.I remember some posting a link to a kit to lower the back end of a 1500 to match the front.Does anyone know where I can find that link?

either lowering shackles, drop blocks, or eibach has a set of new rear leaf springs that lowers it like 2" i think...
i ordered a set of ground force lowering shackles, which will be here tuesday. they are the easiest thing to install.

 

Yeah, drop shackles.

I have the ground force 2" drop shackles, they drop the rear around 1.5".

 

Im not really sure where you find this stuff.Can you recommend some place for me to look?

Also,is it something I could do myself or do you need special tools?

 

for the shackles... all you need is a torque head for the bolt... not sure on the size star or size wrench for the nut quite yet. and you need jacks... easy install. you could check out ebay, DJM website, ground force website or go to a local truck shop

 

I have found the 2" drop shackeles on ebay for less than 60 bucks. they ship from canada. goodluck!

 

check summitracing.com. Anything 05 and back will not fit your truck. I have a 06 quad cab and if says it fits only an 06 and above ITS THE TRUTH. I ordered 3 or 4 different items before i finally got the one i wanted.
