Throttle Body Spacer?
Alright then...thanks for your input on the matter. Looks like I'll be spending the money elsewhere then...perhaps on a new grill. [sm=thanx.gif][sm=thanx.gif][sm=patriot.gif]Still love this smiley!
I put one on my wife's '06 Wrangler 4.0 along with a new K&N CAI and it whistles like crazy when you goose it. The thing is getting much better fuel mileage and is more responsive, but can't say how much, if any, is due to the TBS. However, I can say that I'd rather pay a little more at the pump than listen to that STUPID WHISTLE anymore!!!!!!!
I got a buddy with a '98 Chevy Z71, he put one in and gas mileage went up a good bit, says his "Butt Dyno" feels a bit of boost too. However, this has been a thread on every Dodge forum and it's always like 9 to 1 say they don't do a thing in a Hemi...
When I got my K&N CAI, I asked at the performance shop about an Airaid system and their spacer and the dude said, "not for a Hemi, the throttle body is already doing for you what you'd get from that piece."
So, I figured if the dude is passing upa sale, to tell me it gives me no advantage, I didn't need it.

i bought a helix power tower spacer kit for my hemi. did not notice much on the performance gains side. gave the exhaust a troaty note and the whistle sound which is not as pronounced with helix spacers is cool also. gas mileage did improve slightly about 1mpg or so. i like my spacer simply because of the improved exhaust note.
