Default Mega Cab 2500 Hemi MPG

First post here...considering purchasing a 2007 Mega 2500 Hemi....what kind of mileage can a guy expect from one of these. Thanks a bunch!

Welcome to the forum, out of my qc hemi I used ot have 4x4. driven decently I would average 17 freeway and street combined. I had a superchip and cai on it. Hemi is a great motor.

If you are really looking for mileage and can afford another 3-5k, I would recommend getting a cummins diesel. I've driven quite a few diesel megacabs, and they got impressive mileage compared to the hemi megacabs.

Yeah, buy a CTD... you will be much happier. But, as for what to expect for gas milage, don't expect much. You are looking to buy a truck, not a Prius. And a big truck at that. Start looking at buying gas as paying for your own entertainment... it hurts less.

Definantly get the Diesel if you can afford it. I got 23 mpg driving from San Antonio to Chorpus Christi

I average about 12 - 13 mpg with alot of city driving. When I go on highway trips, I average almost 18-19 mpg cruising 70 to 75 mph. However see my sig as I have some stuff that helps. Plus I am not over the 4000 miles break in period yet.
