It will make little difference. My RC sport reads a big 13.9, although mostly city.

Get the smaller gears, that will help a small amount as well.

you get 13.9 ???? I do mostly city driving with mine now and get 10 !!! I would be happy as hell if I got 13.9 !!! Mine usually shifts @ 2500rpm, has the 3.92 gears, 20" rims, you know the specs. I figured its just because it was so heavy that it got crappy gas mileage. It weighs in at 6100 with me in it and a full tank. Thats HEAVY !!!

It only took five weeks from the time I ordered my truck to the day I drove it off the lot. As long as they can order what you are looking for, don't beat yourself up trying to find one. Have it built with just what you want on it. That is what I did. I am only two wheel drive, but I am getting 17.2 mpg with the overhead around town. Red

I just checked vehix and autotrader for the entire U.S. and nothing is listed anywhere. Looks like you might be special ordering that truck..

Special ordering poses a certain problem. Right now, the dealer I am going through is offering 12,000 off MSRP for Ram 1500's. If I order it, 4-8 weeks later the same deal may not be there anymore. Which is a form of russian roulette I choose not to gamble with. I was never much of a gambler.

:-)

One thing is for sure, if I DO find one, its one rare puppy !!!

The last time before the last time i was at the dealership and was talking bout special ordering... They said the financing would be set up the day it was created... Therefore what happens in a month or two has no effect... The reason i was told.. was ... That if you special order it and can't get financing.. then they won't waste time.. but you get current rebates... So atleast look into it... Can't hurt... right??..

I could be wrong but I think they stopped taking orders for 07s. And you can not order an 08 yet. I know this is true for Jeeps.

If they did stop taking 07 orders and you have to get an 08 there will probably be a price hike like every year.

As I said before, just put in aftermarket leather. Cost will be $500-$800, depending on the covers and who installs. Then you will have a large selection of trucks to pick from.
