maybe someone knows...

The in-dash auxiliary power outlet (under the ashtray) quit working. The fuse was blown, I replaced it, but the outlet still does not work. I tried to remove the outlet, but can't figure it out. Any ideas out there?

Did the fuse blow again?

 

Possible short that caused the fuse to blow in the first place? You should be able to get the dash off by removing the screw in the trash bag holder clip and then pulling around the edges to release the clips; be careful though, some are tough to remove and you don't want to break those clips.

 

Maybe one of the worst interior ammenities ever put into a car.

 

and to think it even came standard! I bet they could have made millions making it an option.
