Default Throtle body spacer or not???

Was just wonderingeveryones experience with a Air Aid Throttle body spacer. I added one to my 2003 Ram Hemi. When i put on my K&N CAI. It makes a weird whstle sound ,according to Air Aid this is normal and its supposed to work like this. Was Actually thinking of getting rid of it but not if its going to affect performace. Dont know if it made a big diffrence or not.Just wanted to hear some personal experiences.
