Default Anybody else have this problem with a brand new truck?

My parents just bought a brand new 07 quad cab hemi. Within the first two weeks the truck started beeping, but no lights came on in the dash. Then on the way home one day the whole dash lit up like a christmas tree and all gauges went to zero. We made it back to the dealership, but not before the truck died numerous times on the way there. The dealership couldn't figure it out so they cleared the computer. Now it's doing the same thing all over again. Has anyone ever had this problem? I don't know anything about it because I drive a 98 Ram.

The dealership is going to take truck for a day tomorrow to see if the can figure it out. They said that they've never seen a brand new truck do this before.

The dealership figured out the problem today. He said it was something to do with the busbar. He said that between two computers on the truck there was a clash of information and it was shutting down the gauge cluster. The replacement part will be in tomorrow and it can be fixed in less than a half hour. Just goes to show you that they are putting way to much electronics on vehicles these days. I wish that it was back in the old days when all your problems were mechanical and you didn't have to worry about computers.
