Default 2004 ram 1500 seat problem

the foam inside my driver seat has evidently split and I am sitting on the edge of a piece of metal
only have 30000 miles on truck so it should not be a case of worn out.
has any one else had a similar problem?

3/36000 bumper to bumper. Take it in. I notice that when I sit on the pass seat, it feels sturdier, comfortable. The driver seat is starting to feel like seating on a toilet rim, like my *** is about to go through.

Great. That's the kind of news an almost-300-lb guy likes to hear about the seats in these trucks. I'm hoping the leather kind holds together a little better. So far they look showroom after 4 years.

update on 2004 driver seat problem
the foam inside my driver seat has evidently split and I am sitting on the edge of a piece of metal
The cover on the seat is not torn but you can tell it is wearing in a straight line abou 4 inches long just under my right thigh.

I took my truck to the dealer for this problem with the seat. Mileage on the truck was 30800. Dealer stated the warranty ran out in Dec 06 (36 months). They said they would contact the company for relief. A week later they call back, turned down by Chrysler, and gave me a number to call Chrysler customer service. Called Chrysler. They called the dealer to inquire about the claim. Chrysler then told me the dealer had contacted a District Manager who had turned down the claim, and that they would back the Manager on this. No avenue of appeal and no way to contact Manager to inquire about further relief. Gotta luv em huh?? Not a happy camper here.
