Default Air Conditioner not working correctly

In my 2004 Ram 1500 the A/C blows cold air on the driver side and outside warm air on the passsenger side. Has anyone experienced this, and if so what seems to be the reason.? Thank you all

Is this something I can repair myself or should i take it into a shop. Where exactly is this blend door located?

while doing a search, I found this thread. I have the same problem with mine, cold on drivers side, warm on passenger side. This is the 03 Laramie with dual zone A/C. There was no reply on what the fix is. Anyone know? Thx

Yep what Hanson said.

My 06 had a similar problem but one of the blend doors failed completely and was stuck in the closed position.

Me thinks it is a cheesy plastic cam mechanism that is at fault. I read somewhere that a metal replacement cam can be installed that will fix the problem.

To access some of the blend doors ain't an easy process. If you search you will find a lot of info on this topic.

I was lucky mine was still under warranty.
