I'm having some Motive 4.56 gears installed today and I'm stoked. The shop tells me there is a 100 mile cool down period. I have to stop every 10-12 miles and let the truck cool down for 30 minutes. I need to do that for 100 miles, if I don't I will burn up the gears. Also said you need to use regular fluids for install and break in then you can switch to synthetic later. Anyone heard of this cool down period?
