so ive heard a rumor that you can swap out a 3.7 v6 for a 5.7 hemi without changing the tranny, wiring or rear end. basically a straight forward swap. so is this just a rumor, or is what i am hearing true?

I don't think so.

I think you need to change wiring harnesses and connectors, pcm, trans, mounts for trans and engine, full exhaust with cats, maybe radiators, etc.

 

you definately need to do a lot more stuff than just swap it in. at that point your better off looking for a new truck with a hemi in it.

 

wouldnt run very good with just 6 goil packs and 6 injectors working.........[sm=badidea.gif]
