cool mod it out bro, i aint downin you for havin a dakota if you like it thats all that matters right? its no one elses truck but yours so aslong as you like it who cares what people think.

 

I prefer the ram, but the dakota isn't that ugly. They also run forever with minimal problems. Red

The 2008's sure look better than the 2007's I had a 96 SLT 4X4 and loved it. But I can't swallow the looks on the 2007's. My 2500 is still pretty compared to that ugly duckling reminds me of the K cars......[:'(]

I think they're alright. A lot better than a Canyon or Ranger....

 

I think all 3rd generation dodge look ugly, they dont even make real bumpers anymore. To much plastic. Plus they make C frames that have creases in the frame to absorb the crash. I like the 1st generation dodges in my opinion, but I think the 3rd generation dakota is the ugliest.

 

2nd Gen Dakotas were badass, not too big on the new ones. Nor am I too big on the new 07 Ram taillights. Don't like the light cylinders protruding. But yeah, the 2nd gen daks were sweet! At least I think mine did

 

I will say the 3rd gen dak look grows on you some after you've had it awhile. I like the looks of the 2nd gens better but having driven both I definitely prefer my 3rd gen. If I could just get some decent shocks in it she'd drive real nice.

 

Mopartoya, I think that's one of the best looking Dakotas I've ever seen!

I don't like the '07's, personally, but they do look a little better with color-matched bumpers. That '08 looks like a Honda Element in front!

 

I think people dislike the 3rd Gen because the 2nd Gen was more appealing, but when you step back and look the Dak and the Ramthey have the same lines but rather than rounded at the breaks it has more of an edge, that is it.
