Dad just got a 07 hemi dodge ram. kinda short legged so he wants to put nerf bars on it...they mount to the body mounts using a bracket...so you have to take the body mount bolt out and i was wondering what the torque specification for the body mount bolts are? it is the 2 on the side below the rockers of course.

also, instead of posting a new thread, just wondering if 850 for a painted fiberglass tonneau cover sounds about right...

Torque specs, always a 1/4 turn before it breaks.

 

glad you found the torque specs... the online service manual has them all... and 850 does sound pretty good painted.

I also used Loctite Red when I installed my nerfs. Don't want the cab flying off the frame while layin the smack down on the competition. That would be embarrassing.
