Yeah, I have the 20" rims but I don't have a cat-back, I only have a replacement muffler. All the piping is still the stock piping except for the extension piece that was required for the muffler since the replacment muffler is ~8" shorter.

Anyone in the DFW area that can suggest a shop that carries and will install a FlowMaster cat back for a reasonable price would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Well,

I had the Flow Master 50 Cat Back installed. Preliminarily, it appears that my mpg are up about 1.5 over stock. Awesome sound as well. $300 installed at Mieneke.

Wow...your gas mileage really is terrible. I agree with other posts too much truck and not enough power. Is it an option to trade for a Hemi truck? I have an 04 QC 4X4 with the Hemi. I get a respectable 14.5 around town and my last trip driving at 70 with cruise control (Tailgate down) I averaged 19.3. I was also amazed of getting 11.5 towing my 5,000 boat 1100 miles on vacation. My only MODS at this time...a Volant CAI. My next upgrade will be a set of JBA ceramic headers with flowmasters (single exhaust) Dual exhaust will lower your low end torque....

Drtelco,

You're getting a little less than what I am getting on my 4.7L. Don't know why the others are getting less than 14.5. The Dual out may lower torque slightly, but there are definate HP gains over 2000 rpms. Should get my torque back and then some with the CAI next week. So far my mileage in the city, after the FlowMaster 50 cat back dual, is about 15.6 according to the computer in the truck.

You should get better gas milag as the motor brakes in and the computers program changes .this is suppose to happen after about 5000mils.
