Default Electric brake wiring

Hi

needing some help, I have installed a Mopar seven-way trailer connector. I have ran the electric brake wire to the cab, and purchased a brake controller. Now I assum the Blue wire out of the controller goes to the blue wire that runs back to the trailer plug. but the instructions that came with the controller, well in a word are terrible, I have no idea what to do with the Black, Red, and White wires that it has. I have some basic electrical assumptions in that one is hot, one is ground, and the other must go to something with the brakes. Thanks for any help.

You can run a search on the cummins portion, this is a heavily addressed issue. does your truck have a hook up already like this by the parking brake?
