Has superchips or someone cracked the rev limiter yet for the 2003 Ram?

 

I know the flashpaq for my 05 can manipulate the rev limiter, along with the speed limiter. As for an 03, I don't know. I believe that Superchips and Hypertec both advertised that the non flashpaq programmers (for previous year trucks) did allow for changing of the rev and speed limiters.

 

As I understand it, the rev limiter can be changed but the shift points can't be altered since it's a separate unit. The only way to take advantage of the raised limiter would be to manually shift it yourself.

 

03 shift points are stuck to stock with the programmers. if you are heavily modded and need the added rpms you'll need a custom tune from b&g.

 

With the flashpaq you can change the shift points.

 

03 hemis have a different tuner from sc
