When you get the itch to start modifying your truck you wont care about gas mileage anymore trust me

My truck has gotten a steady 9.5-10 mpg for the month I've owned it. Even going WOT only occasionally, it never gets any better. The trip home from the dealership - 200 miles of interstate cruising, was no better than 10.0. The overhead gauge unfortunately has been dead on with the calculations at the pump.

Or a calculator . BTW, I seem to get 22 mpg all the time, what seems to be yalls problems, hehe. (just joking)
I have the 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 CTD and the overhead sensor read 22.1 MPG when I pulled up to my house after an 80 mile trip averageing about 65-70 MPH. I'm not sure I should trust this reading, though.

20-25 mpg highway, (depending on cargo weight, headwind or tailwind, actual calculation done, not 'overhead' data) @ 65-70 mph, AC blaring, Cruise control engaged.
City...that's a whole different story...12-14 if I'm in a good mood. 10 and under if I'm under the gun.
Just about to turn 6000mi.
PA toFL road trip coming up soon. I'll know better what she's capable of after that.
Personally, it don't matter. I wouldn't be caught dead in any other truck but my Hemi Ram.

i always reset the overhead everytime i fill up, and the 3 or 4 times ive actually done the math and hand calculated my gas mileage, it was within 1mpg of the overhead everytime. with a split between highway and city driving, i usually get 13.something, but thats in a 4.7 i have gotten up to 19.2 hand calculated on a trip to louisiana, that was all cruise control for like 2 hours pretty much.

If there was a cheap, reliable, effective way to double your mpg's, would you be interested?

Are you talking about that HHO thing you can put on your engine that wont void the warranty?
I'm not sure if i can totally believe it does what it says and has no adverse effects on your engine. But if i knew it was legit and worked as it said it did, I'd be down to put that on my truck anyday.

If you reset the average on the run the overhead will give you instant mpg...it has to in order to start building an average. That's to whoever said it doesn't show instant..

Nope. I am going to try it on my car this week. If results are as I was told, i'll explain how I did it. Not selling anything; but sharing some information.
