I am looking into buying a new 07 ram with the 5.7 in it. I know that all the 07's come with the mds on the 5.7. Is there anyone that knows how it turns the cylinders off or where to find the techniqal information on it. A tech that I used to work with said that they turned oil off to the cylinders and thats why they had so many engine problems. Any hep would be appreciated.

 

Turned Oil off? Fuel yes but Oil?
I would have picked up a pointy stick andpoked him right in the eye.
