Default First truck repair @ Dealership.

As no one will probably remember, back about 3 months ago I made a post asking if anyones truck that was a V-6 / Auto trans was "shuddering" at 30 ish miles per hour. (No one responded) Mine has done it since 2XX miles on it. Wendsday morning it shook so bad that I could hear the tools in my truck bed toolbox rattling around! SO, I dropped it off at our local dealership after-hours last night, and got a call from them about 4:00pm this evening that the truck was done. They had to replace the Torque converter! After only 10,821 miles! And NOW the FRIG'N thing is leaking trans fluid everwhere!!!! Geeeezzzzzzzzzzz! I have had 2 old Dodge trucks that were stove bolt tough. Old, Beat up, Rusty, 200.000 miles on 1, and NEVER in 60,XXX miles, ever once let me down. My '92 Dakota was just as good, but I only put 46,XXX miles on that truck. Got a shiny new one, and have to admire it through the shop window!

Unfortunately, we all get sours once in a lifetime. You probs gotta bad one from the line. At least your dealer was quick to find out what was wrong and to at least admit there was something wrong. The only draw back is to have the truck at their place and not yours. Also, its better that it happened at 10,821 miles than at 36,001 miles. Good luck with the leak. You can always strap a depends on it.
