Default 17" Chrome Clad Wheels/Clad Removal

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram with a set of the 5-spoke chrome clad wheels. I know that the chrome is just a cover over the steel wheel. I was wondering if anyone out there has removed the chrome off the wheels.(Pics.?) and if so were they able to be put back on. Any responses would be highly appreciated.

I'd be interested in seeing pics. I can't believe they went through all the trouble of adding chrome doodads to steel wheels when they could have just designed a standard chrome alloy wheel like everybody else has.

There is a plastic coated hook thing in you jack kit... or was in mine... and there should be a little notch where the seam of the cover meets the wheel... put that hook in their and pry back, pulling the cover off. Disclaimer... this was my wheel, not sure if yours is differant.
