Default Considering SC Programmer

I beent thinking about buying the Super Chips programmer. Ihave read on the last post some people have had trubles with certain things( ie cant change shift points and rev limiter). I have 2003 Dodge ram Hemi with the CAi and A Borla dual side(running great) . Has anyone here put this on a 2003 And what were your experiences? Just doing some reaserch before forking out 400+ dollars .Dont want to be stuck with problems and an empty wallet ,that would suck.

ANother question would be , what happens if you loose the programmer or if it gets damaged and wont start up. How would then you return the truck back to stock? Do you know if you can somehow save all the settings on the Sc maybe transfer to a new programmer? Just covering some bases before i buy.
