Hiya folks, Im new around these parts and I guess im lookin for a little advice. Just bought me a Black 07 Ram Quad cab big horn edition and I need some guidance on what to do to it. I am a complete newbie when it comes to vehicles, before this I had a 93 cavalier in highschool and a 02 ford ranger 4x4 offroad and did nothing to either of them. My stepdad has had a Ram for as long as ive known him, 94 black beefed out beast and now an 05 thats pretty beast in its own right.

What ive done so far to the truck is:

At the dealershipI got that fake hood scoop, side rails, and chrome gas cap door. Came with the 20s.

Chrome covers for all 4 door handles, mirror covers, tailgate handle cover, and 3rd brake light cover.

I guess what im lookin for is stuff to increase the looks but not go overboard w/ the chrome to make it look tacky. Some of the stuff i was looking at was chrome door moldings, tail light covers (hard to find ont he 07s, only found 2 so far), maybe the moldings that extend on either side of the tailgate handle but that may be pushing it. The tires and wheels on there look great but im not apposed to beefin them up or lifting the thing either. Would like to get the duel exaust to give ita throaty beefy sound to it but not so much as it will get me tickets. Open to all ideas to enhance performance, but as ive stated i don't know to much about that kinda stuff.

Any ideas on some of the stuff i have or some of the stuff I posted or even new ideas would be great. Because im stuck at work on a nice day like this I can't get any pictures of the truck up here yet. Ill wash it up good tommorow and post some pics.

yea, its only a 2 wheel drive, living so close to the city i don't get to get out to the country much anymore, orig from southern IL. Used my 4x4 on the last ride maybe 3 times in the 3 years that i had it. Ill get some pics up tommorow for sure.

Love your speakers and what not, when i bought it i didn't know how i was gonna fit stuff in there. My truck came with the little fold out platforms under the back seat, those are nice, i think id have to get rid of them to put speakes in it.

I rocked out 2 soundstream SPL 12s with some soundstream anginas pumpin them in my cav. I was looking at the MTX premade box and what not for the 07 but i have heard the JBLs are hittin harder these days.

 

some of the common upgrades... dual exhaust, gotta give props to flowmaster, CAI, superchips flashpaq tuner, maybe some Mickey Thompson or BFGoodrich tires. I have the SS rocker panels on my truck and love them. Maybe a new head unit and some speakers. THeres alot of different ways you can go with your truck really.

 

I put SS door edge molding on mine but they were pained black.
I like the shorty antennas also but I seem to be alone on that one

I have stopped (about where you are) on adding chrome and started with performance mods.
