ive got an '02 regular cab, and well if i put up both windows at the same time, the drivers side goes up about twice as fast as the passengers, but if i just do the passenger side it goes up as fast as the drivers side. anyone else have this problem? and if so or if anyone knowsabout this am i stuck dealing with this or is there a solution? thanks

Silicone on the window rails fixed my prob on a ricer. Its either that or your motor is failing. $35-$45 bucks gets you a new regulator.

 

In my past life I was a mechanic many years ago. I worked on complaints that the driver’s window was faster than the rest! Yes it is. It has more use and wear. The wear will affect everything including the window seals. A good lubrication of all seals will help.

But if everything works – don’t worry abut having “power window races�.

 

o im not i was just worried about in case of any type of emergency, or rain or u name it. it takes a good few extra seconds for the passenger side window to come up.
