i've got the 40 series.

love it, but the MDS drone is horrible. yet i can live with it.

i LOVE it though.

also with the side exit infront of the rear wheel the drone is alot less than if it came out the back, i've got a friend with a f150 who's got dual flows straight out the back and his is worse.

heres my set up..
That exhaust looks bad *** too.

That does look sweet, but I am guessing the in cab noise has to be pretty high. When I took the resonator off of my 04 the drone on the highway got pretty loud. What I am thinking about doing is a single in/dual out 50 series, move the muffler as far past the cab as possible, then dump the pipes once they cross over the rearend. I know it will still be loud, but when I put true duals(no cat) and dumps with 40s on my 95 it sounded pretty freaking sweet. Of course that was a motor that really benefitted from opening the exhaust up. 5.9 true duals with 40s K&N "FilterCharger" (chrome breather with K&N Filter) Mopar Performance PCM - It would smoke the vortec chevies, the GT Mustangs, the Camaros all on 35s and look good doing it. Damn I miss that truck.

I originally had them put the flowmaster 40 deltaflow on and had them put pipes coming out the back of the truck which costed me $250. Then, my friend got the 50series dumped after the muffler on his tundra and i couldnt live with his sounding better so i called my local muffler shop where i had my exhaust done and he said that he would cut off the exhaust and put two turn downs after my 40series for $40 so i did it and man, did it ever make the biggest difference in sound. I will post a video of the before and after.

the sound of the exhaust you likeall depends on who you are and your setup....wether or not you put custom headers on, high flow cats, leave or remove the resonator(s) what size pipe you go with, wether or not you have other mods, the list goes on an on....

I like my truck to sound like a truck... not a car... I just want the rumble... and being able to hear the exhaust... I'm sure the resonators are goin to stay on... Already toyed with the exhaust... the drone drive the kids and wife nuts... Not goin to be doin much else to it... maybe do the intake..
