Superchips new feature coming soon
I see that Superchips is going to allow us to adjust the shift points on our trucks soon. This will apply to 2004-2006.

Either SuperChips or Hyperpack
could add a useful feature
if they added a 'cylinder cutout' check run.
The way this would work would be
that you tell the programmer
which of the cylinders you want to check
then the programmer would tell you
to accelerate at full speed in first gear.
During the acceleration the programmer would first run all 8 cylinders
then cut out one cylinder for a second or two
then go back to all 8 cylinders and flash 'Finished' on the screen
with a percentage of power loss for that cylinder.
By doing all eight cylinders
owners could spot sparkplug, fuel injector, carbon deposits, etc
problems and correct them.
Even new engines have variations in fuel injector flow
and airflow to each cylinder.
By matching the low flow injectors to the low flow ports
and high flow to high flow
a significant gain in both HP and fuel economy
could be relatively easily achieved.

They could also add an option to make coffee for me in the morning. This is a hand held tuner, not a lap top and a custom pcm. The way MOPAR locked down the pcm's in these trucks be thankful that we have anything at all.
I agree Horseapples.

LOL, he wants a tuner to have individual cylinder cutouts so he can tune each cylinder as far as FI and monitor each cylinders performance

I really don't want to know/care what his issues are anymore.
I laid the smack down on him (the lil red hand is my hero)
I hear ya Pappy! I just thought what he wanted from a hand held tuner was way off in left field. I found it humorous and thought you would apreciate the ironey of his comments. I am all about ironey. and beer........
