Looking at a new 07 tommorow, got a couple questions....
This is the truck I am looking at tommorow. They have it listed as $25,800 after all rebates. 4x4 Hemi Big Horn Edition.
I really wanted the chrome 20" rims. They had a nice White one with the chrome's on thier site but its been sold. My question is would they put on the chrome 20's if I push the issue?

Well, it is the end of the month so I'm sure dealers are more likely to give in to certain requests to make the sale, at least that's what I've heard from a friend who is a car salesman. Just try it and see what happens. Couldn't hurt..
i dont see why they wouldnt do it. its not costing them anything. they just take the chrome 20s off and then put the regular 20s on the other truck. the only way i see this being a problem is if the only truck they have with chrome 20s has the whole chrome accessory package. then i dont think they would do it, becausethe other truckwould have all the chrome trimmings, but with polished aluminum wheels.
Thet arent true chrome rims anyway just caps that go over those existing rims. I have a 06 and they are the same.

Isold cars for about4 months after I graduated college because I couldn't find anything else. Anyways at my place the end of the month was kinda true but more important is how long they have had the vehicle. They will give a vehicle away if they have had it for too long and that goes for new vehicles too. We would drop a new vehicle to a really low price but only that one because we had it longer. As far as the rims they should do it I know that we would have. If they tell you that they want extra $$because the chrome rims cost more just stick with it and say you want same price and they will prob do it. We would deal better on new vehicles and on most don't make much of a profit. I got a minimum commision on prob 90% of new I sold.
Yeah, the chrome clad wheels are a $400 option. I didn't know they were only plastic covers until yesterday when I was waxing the truck. That is one of the few complaints I have ith the truck overall. If I had known they were just cheap plastic covers, I wouldn't have paid the $400 for them. The other truck makers atleast have real chrome wheels.
Anyway, the dealer may add them, but they may charge you extra for them. I think they'd find a way to add them if you really wanted them and the deal was contingent on chrome wheels.
