40-Series Flowmaster Single In/Dual Outlet $214.00
Okay, if you are anywhere near Augusta, GA then you need to get by Performance Exhaust on Gordon Hwy. Today they installed a new, 40 Series Flowmaster single in/dual out with tailpipes for $214.00 (it was 200.00 before 7% sales tax). I will get some pics tomorrow when the sun is out. They put 3" pipe to the muffler, moving it back till it was not under the cab, then did the 'old school' dumps at the rear corners, kinda like the old camaros wher all you see is / on one side and \ on the other. I am not a fan of the chrome tips, so I didnt go with those. Sounds pretty good. No drone on the interstate, and just a small amount of cab noise at 40, depending on what gear its in and all. I am overall very satisfied. All pipe was custom bent, I actually watched the guy do it.
The only drone I get in the cab is around 1800 RPMs not under strain. If I am accelerating, it just rumbles on passed, however if I am cruising and just giving it a little gas it gets a little noisey in cab. Sounds good at idle, take off, and gets loud at WOT. I will post vids, or pics at least, once the rain stops.
Thats about what I paid for the install and muffler up here in MI. I provided the 50 series and tips. The install was $140 for the pipe and bends. I had the duals come straight out the back on the passenger side, similar to the SRT10 exhaust.
Dual in Dual outs to the rear of my truck,Magnaflow muff I believe, at a local place near Philly,$700.00 beans installed.
I'm heading to FLA next week, is Augusta it near I-95? lol.
My wife and kids would shoot me if I stopped far an exhaust!
I'm already making a manditory family pit stop stop at Daytona Speedway, but now, i'd much rather make a stop in Augusta.I'm gonna have to think and plan this one out.

When you get toSavannah on 95 you would be about 2 hours away.....
I was looking at an ebay deal for 180, clamps. When I saw this advertisement I was shocked. Then when I went there and talked to the guy it was like they were killing a bunch of competitors with volume. I guess jobber pricing on a bunch of 40 series would probably be in the 75 per range. Then 125 for materials and labor. The guy that did the piping has been doing exhaust for almost 30 years, since about the time he got home from Vietnam.
He was quick. bending pipes and all. The rain here has been pretty crappy the last day or so. But this thing keeps sounding better and better. When I get a change to get out there with the camera I will post up some stuff. I will have to set up a youtube account since I dont have one.....

i payed 140 for my exhaust. flowmaster 40 single in dual out dumped over the axle. it wasnt loud enough for me. i went back and they cut off the dumps and did turn dows directly out of the muffler for free.
