Shoot, you want to talk acronyms, try going to GMDSS, Global Maritime Distress and Safety Systems. The first day you get a 4 page document of nothing but acronyms you need to know for the class, some have a couple of different meanings depending on the system you are using. It's a major pain trying to learn them all and remember which one is for which system.

When I was in WWI, we used all types of acronyms, to call people names and for breaking german codes. Ah the good ol' times.

 

We don't need the decorder ring as much as this forum needs a spellchecker and grammer aid.

PS I don't want to learn another language, English is tough enough sometimes.

In all seriousness, no one expects every poster to be a spelling genius. But let's face it- we aren't in high school, or middle school for that matter. Your post above is an excellent example of what most are talking about: a run-on sentence that is difficult to decipher, let alone simply read without becoming nauseated. If you expect people to read your posts and answer your questions, you have to take the time to make them a little more readable.

now.. I am hurt.. I have been called an Old Man.. I can understand calling Papi an old man.. after all, look at his picture itis prehistoric.... Man, I mean. my 12 YO daughter thinks I am old, MattCdr thinks I am old... maybe I am getting old.. BUT ... I do have a kickass decoder ring...
