i went to island race way in jersey today for mopar day and i was the only hemi truck running haha. i ran a 15.789 at 86.95 mph. thats for stock. only mods i have a is flowmaster cat back dual exhaust. i have been looking at getting some new stuff. RPMoutlet.com has a package deal for the 5.7 hemi truck. you can choose AEM intake or K&N, superchips or hypertech, jet stage 1 or 2 speed chip. all for 400$ im thinking about doing that and then do an elctronic dump exhaust. maybe that be the next step. what do u all think? who makes the best electronic dump exhaust. i was gonna use a company called quicktimeperformance. if anyone has any suggestions of what to do that would help me out a lil that be good. im not gonna do headers and cat for a while. so forget that lol maybe gears? what size and what brand? helppppppppp!!!

 

yeah ummm....i looked at that kit for my hemi cause it sounded like a decent deal to me until i typed in my zip code and the price shot up to $600

Get small tire/wheel combo. Will probably have more effect thatn the other stuff. Will shorten gears, and give you more effective torque. Go with 17s and short sdiewall tire.

 

Get a DMH cut-out. I ordered one and it came 10 days later, all for just $200. Had it installed at the local muffler shop (cuz i don't know how to weld) and I did the wiring myself. Sounds great and glad i got a switch for it b/c its pretty obnoxious. But sounds great and I get a noticable increase in MPG with it open. www.dmhperformance.com

exit 19off of 80 west. i still want to know whats a good set up for mods tho. what about gears. i know out trucks have 3:92s but i drive this thing every day highway and city is 4:56 to much. what about 4:10 thats still really good. what kind tho. and whats people take on all the other mods i want todo
