Recently purchased a V1 radar detector and want to hide it and use the remote display. I was wondering if any of you have hidden their detectors and if so where?

I did a search and found where there is a mounting bracket for the rear view mirror and another thread on how to hard wire it, but I would like to try and hide it.

I know nothing..... I plead the 5th........................

 

i htink the only ones u can hide are the ones that u have to actually wire in sensors to your front and rear bumpers then u have a little box u can mount anywhere in the cab... other then that, i have mine mounted right above the rear view mirror and bought the optional hardwire so i dont have to wire hanging down

I have a Valentine v1, mounted it up the side of the upper display console on the roof lining with a home made bracket and the sun visor bracket they supplied, pull the headliner down a bit and slide the clip under it, its strong enough to support it and with the remote display its hard to see, as long as you remember to pull the plug while the cops are looking through your window.
