Larger Tranmission Pan

Larger Tranmission Pan
I am looking into getting a larger transmission pan to help keep my trans fluid from frying during the snow plowing season.
I am looking into getting this pan from PML.

However, it says that for the 2500 Hemi, I have to drop the exhaust pipe that runs in front of the transmission by 1 inch. I am looking to see if anyone knows how to accomplish this. Do theyexpect me to beat on it with a hammer (not gonna happen) or weld on some sort of extension?
If anyone has any experience with this, I would love to hear some ideas.
