This is an old thread, but I thought I would resorect it
I put 315 x 70 x 17's on my ram 2500. I had to use bigger wheels 17" x 8", and the ride sucks! I lost about 2 miles per gallon, and I can tell a huge loss in power.
I had the 285's and everything was all good until I had to go monkey with it. I'll most likely put the 285's back on.
