A whyle back i fabricated a custom sub boxfor my 04 regular cab ram. Looked great, but air volume was to low. I am looking to create a new box wich uses only one 12" instead of two. I am interested in obtaining a car shine finish by painting the box when complete. ok so my question. is building a box out of MDF and then applying a light coat of fiiberglass followed by paint an easy idea? or are their other methods?

 

You will have to use body filler after you glass it.

 

yes. fiberglass, sand, body filler, sand. paint. good to go
