I saw this on another forum and thought i would share this with the group. It answers some questions about the new predator product for our Hemi

Our chief engineer (and also one of the owners and President of this company) has joined me in posting at the LXforums, and here is something he posted there yesterday...

"I am the new president of DiabloSport and my 1st priority is HEMI.
I do most of the engineering work on the PCM/TCM side of the vehcile.. figuring out what does what and where it lives inside the PCM.
It may be a repeat, but what do you want to see in the tool itself?
Had alot of requests for rear O2 delete so I figured that out a few days ago.
I see requests for knock sensor control.. can give you that.
These things have some crazy aggressive knock control... more so in the trucks than the cars.
Fans.. no problem.
MDS... no problem.
Misfire.. not a problem.

Goal is to also release the custom tuning software at the same time the tools start to ship so people with highly modified vehicles have an option.

I'll try to add in what we can.

Oh.. as for Vipers.. software is already done for all of them up to 2007.
Just got to do some work on the hardware side and Viper owners are all set. Same goes for SRT-10.. all done on my end"

ya and the tunes can be COMPLETLY custom ones that the predator will store. sooo much better than sc so far... the beta testers are loving it saying to hell with sc. and they keep adding more and more features to it. for 400 bones and the ability to tune the timing and af ratio im stocked!

 

This Sounds pretty good, I might have to look into this, Just ordered a set of long tube headers and high flow cats, as well as the 6.1 cam so maybe this might help me. have a hypertech right now and don't really like it. Any Idea when it will be released?

As you can see they are letting us eat static.

If they keep us on IGNOR too long...I think as soon as this new Programmer hits the market and prooves itself, Pappy gonna get one. And this would lead to Pappy getting a CIA too since the Preditor offers specific tunes to most CIAs.

 

i agree pappy, if this predator is as well liked as people are excited about it, the superchips may hit the for sale ads, and the new tuner be shipped here.
