my truck is in park, i turn the **** to 4wd hi. i hear the 4wd engaing, but the the 4wd light wont stop flashing. usually it stays solid after bout 3-5 secs when u engage it. also i had just recently installed a 6" fabtech lift kit on it, i dont know if that played a part on the flashing. any idea what might be wrong?? thanks!

I don't think there is anything wrong?
Try putting it into 4wd hi when moving and see what happens?
I think it's always better to engage stuff whilst moving, even if only slowly.
I think your light is telling you the 4wd isn't fully engaged yet because the gears arn't fully meshed.
They mesh easier when "on the move"

tried that also, it just stays flashing. oh well, its going into the shop today.
